Welcome to the LSUCS Wiki.  This is only a temporary arrangement until the real wiki/cms is created or this one is modified to better fit in with the current system.  In either case it is likely to be around for at least a few months!

The events list that was on the forums, has now been moved to [[lsucs:events|the new events page]] (last updated 26/05/08).

The Library system is now ready and can be used by all members. Please visit [[lsucs:library|the library page]] for more information (last updated 03/10/06).

==== Log-in ====

Members of the society can login to the wiki with the same username and password they use on the website.

==== Syntax ====

Please have a read of the [[wiki:syntax]] page before you start adding anything.  If you want to test things out please create your own page in the playground.  This is easily done by adding /username to the end of the [[wiki:playground]] url, found on the edit pages.  For me (milkman) this would produce a link of http://wiki.lsucs.org.uk/wiki/playground/milkman

==== Adding new pages ====

This wiki uses a folder style structure to organise the pages, called namespaces.  Other than playground files, please do not add anything to the wiki folder.  For society related files use the **lsucs** folder, for anything else check the [[http://wiki.lsucs.org.uk/?do=index|index page]] and if needs be create a new folder (e.g. linux related topics could be linux/*, or even os/linux/*)
