Weekly socials currently happen/begin every Tuesday at 8pm in JC's bar at the union.
It is planned that in the coming weeks a number of LSUCS members will help by working with the committee (namely with the Chair and Events Organiser) to get socials up to a new standard, something which was not reached in previous years due to our choice of venue.
Some ideas are floating about, and the committee openly invites members to suggest further ideas in an attempt to add to the experience had by members at each social.
Existing thoughts are for some theme nights, e.g. Pub Golf, fancy dress, and most anticipated is a change of venue away from the not-so-ideal acoustics inside JC's. We may still meet at JC's but will most likely move into town after our first few socials when new members have had a chance to learn their way around town.
